Bo Yang joined the Department of Industrial Engineering and Decision Analytics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as an Assistant Professor in August 2024. Prior to this position, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia University. He received his Ph.D. in Operations Management (2022) and M.Sc in Operations Management (2017) from Carnegie Mellon University, M.Sc in Management Science and Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (2015), and B.Sc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology (2011).
